Luela is a nine years old girl from Eritrea. She has six siblings.
In her village, there is no access to clean water and safe sanitation. Therefore, Luela and her mother have to walk a long, long way to get water for her family.
Do you want to follow Luela on her journey?

[[No, I don't want to.|Ending]]Unfortunately, you won't see what Luela's life will look like. Are you sure you're not curious? You can always go back and make another choice...The situation is bad. Luela has 6 little siblings. Originally, there were two more, but they recently died of diarrhea diseases caused by water pollution, like two million children do every year. It has made a huge impact on her life. Her father was a tradesman, but he isn't able to work anymore, because he shows early signs of sickness. The burden weighs heavy on Luela's shoulders. As the oldest, she is responsible for her whole family.

[[Go outside and play in the desert|Lazy Day]]You chose the best option!
[[Luela's way is long and hard. She crosses the desert.|Hard Way]]
[[Luela walks to the next village to ask for help.|Asking For Help]]Since you decided to let her old and frail mother take the long journey for Luela, she is way too slow and the water doesn't arrive on time. Dumb choice!
Now her father will only suffer more...
[[Bad Ending]]You chose to let Luela play in the desert all day! Yippie!
Nobody is there to take care of her family right now. Great choice!
[[Bad Ending]]On her way, Luela has to fight several snakes, sandstorms and an aggressive herd of camels.
But wait! Did you hear that?! A car! A car? In THIS desert?! What the hell!!!
She picks up speed and follows the mysterious sound. As she gets closer, she can see a camera team...
[[Approach the people|The Explorers]]
[[Run Away|Hallucinations]]Luela finds a group of people that she asks for help. Unfortunately, they also lack access to water and do not know where to go to get it. Luela doesn't know how to proceed.
80% of the Eritrean people are not able to access basic drinking water and sanitation services in their country.
Luckily, a man comes along, telling the people about another way to get water. It's easier and faster. Luela is able to get enough water to help her family.
[[Good Ending]]It turns out that the camera team is there to explore the region. They want to interview her to get more information. She explains that her village suffers from water scarcity and pollution. She is unable to access basic drinking water and sanitation services. In her village, there is also no sewage system, which is why human and animal waste can easily infiltrate water supplies and has grave impact on human health. Near the village is a factory which produces products for the industrial nations. The toxic substances enter the water and degrade the water quality. The trail she has to take to get water is becoming longer and longer every year, since droughts are getting more common because of the climate change.
The explorers are fascinated by the little girl and immediately write and publish an article in the National Geographic. She becomes famous for her story and achieves to raise awareness for this grand issue. Her village gets help from big organisations and her father gets well again. The organisations help to install water filtration systems and water-saving technologies. They establish reservoirs to save water during rain periods.
The explorers reveal that they have found Luela's mom! Now the family is back together and everyone's happy and they live a happy life.
[[Happy Ending]]Luela runs and suddenly gets bitten by a venomous snake!
....
Can you see that? A unicorn! It can speak!
"Luela... I... Am... Your father! May the rainbow be with you."
